Welcome to the Montgomery Development Education Centre (MDEC) website. MDEC is an Aberdeen based organisation, covering the whole of the North-East of Scotland. We are the education section of the Aberdeen Third World Centre. The Centre is part of the International Development Education Association of Scotland (IDEAS). This is a network of over 40 organisations and individuals involved in Development Education and Education for Global Citizenship/Sustainable Development Education across Scotland.

Send My Friend to School 2009

75 million children worldwide are missing out on school and we need to remind our leaders of the promise they made to get every child in school by 2015.  As part of this years Comic Relief, Send my Friend to School 2009 are organising a global BIG READ with millions taking part in 100 countries around the world.
